Few Facebook Scams/ Hoaxes
Nowadays
Facebook become an integral part of our life to connect with friends,
relatives and to some groups which are useful for personal or
work related interests. The recent statistics shows that it has around 1
bn active users, despite lot of fake profiles.
Too many users means too many rumors, hoaxes, spams etc. There are few hoaxes/ spams explained below:

The link in the message opens a fake video webpage. Clicking "play" on the bogus video actually "likes" the message and displays it on your Facebook profile. The message then opens another page that claims you must complete a survey to verify your age before viewing the video. After completing the survey, you will be told that you are now in the running to win an expensive prize. However, to go in the draw, you are required to enter your mobile phone number. But, by providing your phone number, you are in fact subscribing to a very expensive - and ongoing - SMS "service" charged at $5 per text message along with a $15 joining fee.

Next, users are taken to a non-Facebook page where they are instructed to click one of several links, ostensibly as a "Security Check"

This would-be anti-child abuse protest message, which is circulating widely via Facebook, features a photograph of a little girl with a badly bruised face. The message asks users to share the photograph if they are against child abuse and states that such abuse is "just unacceptable".
The photograph is genuine. However, it does NOT depict a case of child abuse. In fact, Katie Ann Guttridge, the little girl in the photograph, was attacked by another child at her nursery school in Leicester, UK in December 2011.

Remember: Its just a waste of time and so many peoples attempts it, so this gets circulated to make more peoples fool!

If you want to eat a banana, go ahead. It does have some benefits I’m sure. But it isn’t going to prevent cancer. It’s not going to cure cancer. It’s not going to do make you live longer. It’s just going to provide nutrition.
